  1. What can I donate?

    A: We accept most vehicles and vessels including but not limited to cars, trucks, trailers, boats and RV's.


  2. Is my donation tax deductible?

    A: Yes. We have verified that all charities listed within this site are classified with the IRS as non-profit charitable organizations. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Individual tax situations vary so please check with a tax professional to determine what if any tax benefit you may receive.


  3. What do I need to donate my vehicle?

    A: We would like the title to the vehicle, but if you do not have it please call us anyway. It is possible that other arrangements may be made. Please call us toll-free at 1-877-423-6628 seven days a week.


  4. My car hasn't run in years. Can I still donate it?

    A: Yes, we are able to accept most vehicles running or not (exceptions include older vehicles whose value would not offset the cost of towing). To find out if we can accept your vehicle, please complete and submit our online donation form.


  5. How is the value of my car determined?

    A: Current IRS laws state that the value of a donated vehicle is determined by the documented sale price of the vehicle, not fair market or Kelly Blue Book values as in previous years. And the minimum tax credit is $500.00 even if the actual sale price is less.

    We suggest you review IRS Publication 526 which sets forth the manner in which the IRS requires you to determine the value of your donated property. If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader, then click here. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, then click here and search Publication 526.


  6. How will the car be picked up?

    A: We will arrange to have your vehicle towed away by a professionally licensed, bonded and insured towing company.


  7. How long will it take to pick up my car?

    A: You will at least be contacted within three or four business days at the most. If you need your car picked up sooner, please let us know as we may be able to make those arrangements as well.
